Dear friends
We have decided to write a blog and commence with the intention of updating it regularly.
There are a few reasons for this decision at this time, but I think it's easiest to say that we find ourselves at a crossroads and would value to opportunity to process some of the experiences/options we face with trusted friends. That said, we also hope for and eagerly desire feedback, prayer support and general connectedness.
More and more we value being part of something bigger than ourselves and need regular reminders that we are not as isolated as we often feel ourselves to be!
A quick overview:
Markus continues in his role as deputy to his Dad in the company here in Münnerstadt, and at the same time heads up the company in Poland. He is involved in another start up company with a friend from the UK and also his own start up to develop a whole new product.
In his time away from work, he continues trying to complete the flight hours needed for his pilots licence and spends every possible moment with his three little princesses, the little prince and his wife!
A new desire is also becoming evident and involves studying business law.
Leonie continues to be a mom to her little treasures! This leaves little time for other pursuits, but some time for dreaming. She dreams big dreams of a hospitality house, retreat centre and coffee/ bookshop here in Münnerstadt. Mostly these dreams are dreamt while weeding the vegetable patch!
Her degree is permanently on hold, but not forgotten and not often far from her thoughts.
Elia will be 7 in November and continues to mature and amaze us with her brilliance! She has learnt to swim, enjoys flag dancing and is learning to play the piano.
Sarah turned 5 in July and is a very quiet addition to our family of chatterboxes! She thinks very deeply and finds connections in anything. She is currently learning to swim and dreams of being a ballett dancer.
Rebekah turned 3 in May. She doesn't realize that she is younger than her sisters and believes she can do everything they can ... Mostly she's right! The only thing she is incapable of at this time, is being quiet. However, she continually amazes us with her insights.
Timothy is 7 months old but seems older. He started crawling two weeks ago and rapidly progressed to sitting, pulling himself up against things and cruising! He's a very happy, contented little boy.
Now that you are up to date with the brief overview, I'll sign off and get to the nitty gritty another day!
Leonie, for the clan
